What is our mock evaluation service?
A senior member of our team will apply the tender evaluation criteria and mark your bid before it is submitted for marking by the real client. This is a useful way to ensure the answers are focussed on what the client has asked for and the scores are maximised. This service provides the company with reflection time, after the bulk of the tender has been completed, but before pressing the final submit button, allowing for any additions, changes, or rephrasing.
Mock evaluations can also be seen as a useful training and feedback tool for bid teams. To date, we have received an incredible level of positive feedback in relation to the usefulness of our evaluation comments and how it has benefitted the learning and development of the writing team.
The service covers...
- Once we are provided with the evaluation criteria (and the bid documents) and your team’s written answer we will score the answer impartially against it.
- Within 48 hours of us receiving your written answer, you will receive a feedback report, including your likely score (in the opinion of our expert), and full and in-depth commentary/advice highlighting both the positive, and outlining where/if marks have been missed.
- Rachel takes a “bottom-up” approach in her evaluation methodology (ie - ensuring answers provide a full response to “good” criteria before evaluating for “very good”).
